Previous weekend Port of Amsterdam introduced their new company logo and house style. Both grace the control tower and Port Operations Centre in IJmuiden, the patrol boats and the signposting in the port area among other things.

High voltage
Voltage is the title of Iris van Herpen‘s latest couture collection and it explores the electricity of the body. For this collection Iris van Herpen, who is leading fashion designer in the use of 3d printing, collaborates a.o. with new Zealand artist Carlos Van Camp for the high voltage energy and with Neri Oxman from MIT’s Media Lab and architect Julia Koerner. Both use a different 3D printing technique. The catwalk shoes are the result of the collaboration between Iris Van Herpen and United Nude.
